Paul Wilkinson

I am a Personal Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Coach.

After several years working in the rat race, I found the stress getting greater and the waistline getting bigger. Exercise helped me deal with these issues resulting in a career change in 2008. In 2010 Latitude Fitness was formed in a small 600 sq feet unit before moving to our current location.

In February 2015 I was one of the first trainers in Europe to become a Certified Functional Strength Coach. I am also a Level 1 Precision Nutrition Coach, which is generally regarded as the best nutrition certification in the fitness business.

Constantly trying to learn from some of the best in the business, I have been lucky enough to visit some top coaches in order to study their working practises. These include Ian Fisher at Yorkshire County Cricket Club, Nick Allamby at Bradford City Football Club and Michael Boyle at MBSC Strength and Conditioning In Boston, USA.

We love sport at Latitude Fitness as it has taught us many values, which transfer into our coaching. We do, however, have a very diverse clientele and it is interacting with these people on a daily basis that makes the job not seem like a job!

I am a Fitness Coach and Massage Therapist with Latitude Fitness.

Enabling my clients to reach their full potential be it in a sporting environment or just by living a healthy and fulfilling life is a huge passion of mine.

I believe regular sports massage along with exercise and a healthy diet can help an individual feel energised mentally as well as physically.

I have grown up within a sporting family and this has formed my love of all things active. Sport has also taught me self confidence, discipline and teamwork, values which I bring into my coaching regardless of the client’s fitness background.

I am a fitness coach and a primary schools sports coach at Latitude Fitness.

Sport has always been a major passion of mine ever since I was a young child. In 2010 I studied a Sports Coaching Degree at the University of Central Lancashire, graduating in 2013.

Since graduating from University I have worked in several primary schools, delivering extra curricular sporting activities, as well as curriculum based PE lesson’s, working with EYFS – KS2 Children. My education and experience in sport has given me the insight and knowledge in to how to work independently, as well as part of a team! Sport has also taught me many principles and values which I always aspire to bring in to my coaching, to the best of my ability.

In 2017 I joined the Latitude express and now divide my time between fitness and schools coaching.
